I am Chaowen Guan, an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at University of Cincinnati starting Jan 2024. Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral Scholar in the CS Theory Group at the Pennsylvania State University. Before that, I received my PhD in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2020. Before the pursuit of my Ph.D., I was a research engineer at Singapore Management University, working under the supervision of Prof Robert Deng. Before that, I received my Bachalor degree from Jinan University, Guangzhou.
Currently, my research interests are about quantum algorithms and its applications to real-life problems, such as chemistry, material science, etc.
